I have been reading a TON these past few weeks.
I had even decided to revisit a series I came across a few
years ago. I had stopped reading because one of my friends spoiled the 3rd
book for me and I was a bit upset.
But the other day, I decided to finish the amazing ‘An Unfortunate
Fairy Tale’ series by Chanda Hahn. I knew she had written the last book to the
series and released it in June so I figured now was the perfect time!
The series centers around Mina who finds out she is related
to the Brothers Grimm and inherited her family’s curse to complete quests in
the fairy tale stories. Also, she has a better love life than I do at 28. Overall,
it’s a great twist on fairy tales and I loved it!
I was definitely not disappointed that I gave the series
another try.
Chanda Hahn is a magician when it comes to the written word!
Her characters are full of flaws but the connection to them will last beyond
finishing their story. And after all, they are teenagers.
The series unfortunately has come to an end with 'Forever'
which was released in June 2015. The great news about that is you don’t have to
wait for the next book to come out! I can’t think of one book worm who doesn’t
love that! The bad news is there is nothing left to read about Mina and her
fantastic adventures….
Well, at this time. The way she ended ‘Forever’ makes me
believe there is more to come! At least I hope so Chanda Hahn!
