For the month of October, I decided to create a Halloween TBR List. I went searching for authors who wrote paranormal or horror stories. I came across Richard Gleaves and thought that ‘Sleepy Hollow: Rise Headless and Ride’ would be a great addition to my list.

Ehh… I don’t know. I mean, I did like it but it was a bit different than what I was expecting.

Which isn’t a bad thing.

I did read book 1 and 2 in the series because it was interesting enough to keep me entertained. But I will be honest there were some parts that I ended up skipping over. I did not think they were that essential to the overall plot. In fact, it made the second book much longer than it needed to be. Well, in my opinion.

There is a third book to the series that I will be reading as well. Like I said, at times it could be a bit boring but the plot is interesting enough that I do want to at least read the third one. So overall, I would give the book 3 stars.
