The Review
L. Penelope has done it
again with Angelfall, Book 2 in The Angelborn Cycle series! I was excited for
this book because when we got introduced to Wren in Angelborn, I knew he would
have an interesting story. And he does! Angelfall delves more into the Angel
world and how they are created and how they sustain and maintain their lives
and the humans they watch over. Lyrix and Wren had a classic tale of star
crossed lovers but it wasn’t generic. She is the first new angel to emerge in a
millennium and the fate of the angels rest on her shoulders. Wren is angelborn who
wishes to advance to be something more than just a lowly half angel. They had
amazing chemistry and I enjoyed watching their relationship unfold. The way the
book ended was perfect. To be honest, there isn’t much about this book that I
don’t like. Other than the fact it was short. I didn’t want it to end. (insert
sad face here) I don’t want to spoil it for anyone so all I have to say is go
buy it now!!! You really won’t regret it!
